We're looking for world-class engineers, compliance experts, and operators who want to reshape how money moves across borders.
Founding Engineer (Full Stack)
Engineering
Dublin, CA (On-site)
Full-time
$150K–$210K + 0.5%–1.5% equity
A business in the Philippines receiving a wire from San Francisco today will wait 2 to 3 days and pay 3% to 5% in fees. We're using stablecoin settlement — specifically USDC and USDT — to collapse that process to minutes. As a two-person team, we've built the V1 core, closed a $2M funding round, and secured the institutional plumbing with all design partners.
You'll be our first engineering hire, working directly with the CTO. You'll own meaningful parts of the system, participate in architecture decisions, and have your fingerprints on infrastructure that moves real money at scale. This is a high-autonomy IC role for someone who wants to build.
What You'll Work On
- Designing settlement systems that handle atomic multi-currency transactions where correctness isn't optional
- Owning the reliability story across a growing web of third-party providers
- Building async infrastructure that keeps everything reconciled, recovered, and auditable
- Shipping user-facing features across the stack (Next.js + TypeScript frontend, FastAPI/Python backend)
- Making architectural decisions about what to build, what to buy, and what to defer
Stack
Backend: Python 3.13, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Redis, Arq. Frontend: Next.js 14, TypeScript, React 18, Tailwind. Infrastructure: AWS ECS Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache, Terraform, GitHub Actions.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Python and TypeScript — you know the ecosystems deeply, not just the syntax
- Production experience with relational databases and async systems
- Ability to design systems, not just implement them
- High standards for correctness, type safety, and testing
- Enough design sensibility to ship clean, functional UIs without a dedicated designer
- High judgment — you know when to move fast and when to slow down
Interview Process
- Intro call with the CTO (30 min)
- Technical deep-dive with skeleton repo (90 min)
- Founder conversation and offer discussion

Head of Compliance (Founding Member)
Risk & Operations
US (SF / NY / Remote)
Full-time
$150K–$210K + 1.0%–2.5% equity
Netaro is the API-first stablecoin routing engine replacing legacy correspondent banking for global B2B payments. Backed by top-tier VCs, integrated with Visa Direct and Bridge, and partnered with a Tier-1 US Sponsor Bank. We are looking for a highly strategic, execution-oriented Head of Compliance to build and scale Netaro's global regulatory framework from the ground up.
As our first dedicated compliance hire, you must be a true "Player-Coach" — strategic gravitas to negotiate with Tier-1 US sponsor banks in the morning, and tactical grit to file a SAR on the FinCEN portal in the afternoon.
What You Will Own
- Sponsor Bank Relationship: Own the day-to-day compliance relationship with Lead Bank and liquidity providers (Bridge, Visa Direct)
- Global Licensing Roadmap: Own FinCEN MSB obligations and aggressively drive acquisition of US State MTLs and international VASP/VARA licenses
- RegTech Stack: Evaluate, integrate, and configure Persona (KYB/UBO), Unit21/Sardine (transaction monitoring), Chainalysis/TRM Labs (on-chain screening)
- Daily Operations: Act as Netaro's designated BSA/AML Officer — oversee the daily transaction alert queue, conduct fraud investigations, draft and file SARs via FinCEN E-Filing
- Product Compliance: Work with the CTO to embed compliance natively into the API, automating WORM-compliant audit receipt generation
Requirements
- 8+ years compliance/regulatory risk experience in FinTech or Digital Assets
- Minimum 3 years leadership at a crypto-native infrastructure company, stablecoin issuer, or high-volume B2B payments firm (e.g., Circle, Stripe, BVNK, Coinbase)
- Deep tactical familiarity with Persona, Unit21, Chainalysis
- Extensive UBO investigation and unwinding experience for B2B enterprise clients
- Hands-on SAR drafting, reviewing, and filing experience
- CAMS, CGSS, or equivalent ACAMS certification preferred
Interview Process
- Intro call with the CEO (30 min) — compliance background, regulatory strategy, vision
- Compliance deep-dive (90 min) — practical scenario with 90-day roadmap presentation
- CEO conversation and offer discussion
